I have previously reviewed the Elica 90 cm chimney that has a suction power of 1425, but this black beauty has a bigger mouth with 1500 cubic meters per hour.

I don’t think that any user is going to complain about the suction vacuum ability. Even if you have a big home with a big kitchen then this is still the best pick for you.

The most amazing thing about this product is that it has a touch control panel. The sensitivity of the panel is very high. You just put your finger on it and it’s active.

However, it has a huge suction capacity, if you want to run this unit on a lower power then there are three power phases labeled on the panel. So you can set it according to your needs.

This unit also has a motion sensor capability so which means you can push it up and down while only moving your fingers in the air.

For the installation, the kit comes with the package so you don’t have to buy them separately.

What do I like?

Of course, the first thing I liked is none other than the suction power or I should say ultimate power. However, it produces a slight noise but with great power of suction, I can neglect that noise for sure.

The motor quality is also very good. As the motor is doing a poundage job so it consists of pure copper and there is a 5-year of warranty from Faber as well.

Similar to Elica, I also test the support of Faber and I call them on this number (18002007577). And their response was satisfactory.

What are the drawbacks?

I was expecting that the motor should be high wattage because it is delivering a huge power of suction. But the wattage of the motor is only 180w. So when you put it in the highest settings, the motor gives noise.

Another thing that I miss in this chimney is the baffle filter. We have seen two baffle filters in Elica but there is only one.

One is the baffle filter whilst the other one is filterless. You have already seen two chimneys above that have baffle filter technology. And that’s why they come with baffle filters that you need to wash after every 6 months.

While Glen Senza is not required any maintenance and cleaning periodically. It does not have any filters so no filters mean no need to pull them out and wash them.

It comes with an oil collector tray that collects all the oil remains. And it is easy to wash it as well.

Another thing that makes it different is its copper winding motor. As you know copper is a better electric conductor compared to silver. So a copper motor means it will work more efficiently and last longer. Not only last longer, but it will also save electricity.

What do I like?

Believe me, washing the filters make me cry. I know they are easy to wash but it is something that I do not like so that’s why I like the filterless technology in this unit.

I do not like to see any visible part of the chimney in my kitchen and that’s why I like the fact that it has curved glass. It makes the chimney look stylish and sleek.

What do I like?

The prominent thing is the low noise for sure. I have tested so many chimneys and they all have some level of noise. But this unit is great in terms of noise.
